Esparto grass, as a plant fiber, can change color. Over time, it fades from its original green to a more yellowish tone. This process is accelerated by sun exposure. We recommend using it indoors or under a porch to keep it dry. As it is a natural fiber, it can be damaged if it gets wet and is not dried properly. If exposed to the elements, we recommend applying a water-based varnish. We recommend using a damp cloth or gentle vacuuming.
