Indi lamps are special for their minimalist Baltic aesthetic, massive volume but very light and unique material. The design of this lamp was created using its exclusive Repaper technique. With Kabo they started a line of products that have an extraordinary illusion of heavy monolith and incredible body lightness.
This impressive union of opposites became its distinctive feature. The lamp mask looks almost like an architectural dome and creates a cozy circle of light below. Much more than Eco
Indi is a Lithuanian design brand known for its original creations and unique recycled paper technology – REPAPER. This method creates a fascinating illusion – objects that appear to be made of heavy cement but are actually very lightweight. Indi's designs aim to create aesthetically pleasing interior elements that are environmentally friendly, causing no pollution and in some cases even reducing it. Eco-designer Simonas Tarvydas was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. He graduated as a painter and visual artist from the Vilnius Art Academy. Simonas has extensive experience as a creative director—a field he worked in until 2014. In 2014, he decided to start his own design studio, INDI. Its unique feature is a one-of-a-kind "REpaper" technology (developed by Simonas Tarvydas) that creates a concrete-like impression while being extremely lightweight. Showcasing the latest innovations in contemporary design, INDI aims to be a part of the global circular economy.
