Description

The Calidor stove is a patented, eco-friendly stove that emits no smoke or odors. It uses bioethanol as fuel and therefore does not pollute the environment.

Its stainless steel structure features a base where the special plastic tank, used because it is a non-corrosive, non-porous material that ensures the bioethanol is sealed and is able to withstand high temperatures.

This structure is equipped with small wheels with brakes and support legs to facilitate stability and movement of the stove. On one side of the base is the fuel inlet, protected by a screw-on cap.

Inside the burner tank is a fiber material that allows for the regular combustion of ethanol vapor upon contact with a flame. This fiber, made from entirely eco-friendly materials, darkens gradually over time. This darkening should not be a cause for alarm or considered a sign of reduced energy efficiency in the stove. It is a completely normal process for the eco-friendly materials used in the manufacture of these stoves.

The heating column consists of a metal frame and glass panels, one of which slides vertically to allow lighting the flame. Together, these components form the chimney that channels the hot air to its outlet. Finally, the stove includes a hot air diffuser that facilitates the release of the hot air produced by the burner and prevents it from reaching the flame.

It complies with European regulations for public roads and can also be used indoors.

Calidor

Eco-friendly indoor and outdoor stoves

Calidor is a company founded with the aim of offering an eco-friendly solution to the hospitality and restaurant sector, primarily, although it also caters to the private sector, focusing its efforts on winning over individuals who want an optimal and environmentally friendly heat source in their homes. Calidor stoves are tailored to the customer's needs, providing heating based on an ecological and renewable fuel: bioethanol. These stoves have been designed to help solve the problem of the high polluting emissions produced by butane and propane gas stoves, offering a comfortable temperature for the end user. Calidor was born from the experience of manufacturing the 14,680 Olympic torches for the 2016 Rio Games. Inspired by the mechanism of the Olympic torch, they have created a clean bioethanol stove, thus contributing to savings and greater sustainability in energy consumption.
