Description
Globe is a sustainable hanging lamp made of papier-mâché designed for decorating the dining room or kitchen and creatively illuminating home spaces thanks to its unique style.
Materials
Among the materials used to make these sustainable pendant lamps, the main one is papier-mâché, which is made from recycled, pulped newspapers and water-based glue, hence its lightness. The paper is torn into small pieces which, under high heat, fuse together into a new, sustainable, and completely different entity. This allows the paper to be molded in many different ways to create the desired shape of the pendant lamp.
A one-meter white textile cable is used for connection to the power source. Globe pendant lights use only LED bulbs up to 20W with an E27 base (not included). The shade for this sustainable lamp is available in amber, black, red ochre, gold ochre, sienna yellow, amber green, or natural gray. Custom cable colors and lengths are also available upon request.
Utility and use
These pendant ceiling lights are sculptural pieces that you can place in your kitchen or dining room, illuminating the table from the ceiling with a striking style. Globe pendant ceiling lights contribute to your home’s sustainable decor in a special way: at night, their core comes alive, simulating a bright, luminous planet.
Environmental characteristics
Crea-re is a company committed to environmental and social responsibility. All its products are made with sustainable materials and environmentally friendly processes. This includes its LED light bulb, which is one of the most eco-friendly options available today for home lighting. Furthermore, it’s important to note that the lightweight nature of its lamps reduces shipping costs, as lower weight means less CO2 emissions during transport.
Design features
The Globe sustainable pendant lamps are part of the Copernicus collection, which references the planets of the solar system, in this case, Earth. Their porous and irregular style symbolizes dry, cracked soil, a poetic choice inspired by the paintings of Polish artist Grupa Nowohucka. Depending on the shade color chosen, you can create more sophisticated and understated atmospheres with black amber, natural gray, or amber green; or warmer and more cheerful spaces with ochre red, golden ochre, or sienna yellow. This sustainable pendant lamp is also perfect for balancing environments with a predominantly cool decor or for rooms with neutral tones.
