The Junit Mentis pendant lamp is a modular pendant lamp consisting of eight different elements. Each unit is made with ash wood and are painted in a German workshop. Junit series elements come in a natural, clear finish and each in different colors. The bulb complements the colored lamp with its oversized, milky glass that produces warm and ambient light.
The designers of the lamps Niklas Jessen and Julia Mülling created 5 versions of the Junit lamp according to their own aesthetic sense of form. The “Menpis” lamp consists of 3 elements: a plug with a clear finish, a piece of fuchsia color and a yellow color element on the top. The color of the textile cable is teal.

Stylish lamps and furniture with a focus on quality, ecology and innovation
The term Schneid could be translated from German as "to be bold." The name of this design studio hints at the essence of its philosophy. Schneid Lighting & Furniture was founded in 2012 as a project to create eco-designed lamps and furniture, produced with environmentally friendly processes and raw materials, and inspired by nature itself. Their products are durable and elegant, but their high quality goes far beyond aesthetics. At Schneid, they support local manufacturers, keeping supply chains short and using locally sourced natural materials as the basis for their products. Natural raw materials, striking colors, and bold shapes create a distinguished and warm atmosphere wherever they are placed.
Eco-designer Niklas Jessen studied architecture in Lübeck, where he discovered his fascination with interior design, a fascination that led him to become a cabinetmaker as well as a designer. Julia Mülling studied literature in Berlin, though she was always drawn to design. Now, she puts her instincts and ability to conceive and bring new pieces to life every day. In 2012, they founded the studio Schneid Lighting & Furniture, where they create unique lighting and furniture pieces inspired by natural lines and manufactured with respect for the environment.
