The bull shape is inspired by diatoms, which are at the base of the entire ocean food chain. The name Maru is found both in the Maori language of New Zealand and in the Japanese, with references to the cycle of life. Maru is a lighting sculpture that works with six Lumiled internal LEDs, which project the light upwards creating overlapping patterns. Ka Sustainable ceiling lamp Maru can complement other light sources and also provide an element of surprise in a low-lighted setting, such as a bar, a lounge or a restaurant.
