The Matiko lamp is a pendant lamp made in 3D printing in black mud without glaze, which includes a conical florón and the black textile cable.
Ceramic extrusion 3D printing makes each lamp build with small layers of 1.6mm, which are spiraling, until the cone is built. This process takes a time of 5h 43′ per lamp.
Due to the nature of ceramics, each sustainable hanging lamp is unique, since factors such as ambient humidity or the kneading of each tank influence.

Muka Design Lab is an award-winning industrial design studio specializing in the creation, design, and development of furniture, homeware, and small appliances that possess a distinct identity and character. Eco-designers Laxmi and Lucas met while studying under a scholarship from the DZ Product Design Center; they subsequently went on to the Master’s program in Product Design at Coventry University’s Faculty of Art and Engineering, where both graduated with honors in 2006. After completing their training and gaining professional experience working for others, they founded Muka Design Lab to continue exploring their own unique concepts.
