Description

Morphe Mini is a sustainable pendant lamp made of papier-mâché, designed for unique and sustainable homes. Hang it above your kitchen or dining table for a creative focal point.

Materials

One of the most important materials used to make these sustainable pendant lamps is papier-mâché, which is obtained from recycled old newspapers and certified sustainable water-based glue. This material is characterized by its durability and light weight, making it easy to move.

The lampshade is colored using natural pigments and connected to the power source via a two-meter white textile cable. Morphe Mini pendant lights use only LED bulbs up to 20W with an E27 base (bulb not included). The shade is available in a choice of sienna yellow, black amber, amber brown, and amber green. Custom colors and cable lengths are also available upon request.

Utility and use

These pendant ceiling lights are exclusive designs that you can place in any room of your home where you want sustainable and creative decor. The Morphe Mini pendant ceiling lights are ideal for central lighting in the kitchen or dining room, positioned above the table.

Environmental characteristics

These lamps, like all Crea-re products, are sustainable thanks to the materials used in their manufacture, such as recycled newspapers, water-based glue, and dyes—all natural and non-toxic. Furthermore, the LED light required to illuminate these sustainable lamps is inherently sustainable, mercury-free, and has a lifespan ten times longer than traditional light bulbs. Finally, the lightweight nature of these products reduces shipping costs, as less weight means less CO2 emissions during transport.

Design features

The Morphe Mini sustainable pendant lamps are among the smallest in the Morphe family, a collection inspired by the zoomorphic and amorphous forms found in nature. Their smooth, oval surface accentuates irregular hollows and unique wrinkles in each lamp..

Crea-re

Eco-designed paper lamps

The Essence of Crea-re: Every Crea-re papier-mâché lamp is unique. It is impossible to create two identical ones; each holds its own story—reflecting both the past lives of the recycled materials used and the artistic inspiration behind their creation. The Crea-re Story: The brand was born from eco-designer María Fiter’s passion for sculpture, a trait evident in the organic shapes of every lamp. Each new design project begins with a vision for a series of rustic yet elegant lamps that pay homage to nature. The brand name combines "Crea" (creativity) and "Re" (recycling). Production Processes: All Crea-re lamps are exclusive, sustainable pieces handcrafted from papier-mâché and wood. They are made using 100% recycled newspaper, while the wood is finished with water-based varnishes and beeswax. Inspirations: For the "Copernicus" lamp series, the designs draw inspiration from Solar System bodies such as the Moon, Jupiter, Pluto, and Earth. Art also serves as a source of inspiration for Crea-re; the lamp structures—characterized by a gray, porous, irregular, dry, and cracked appearance—were inspired by the paintings of the Polish artist collective "División Nowohucka."

Eco-designer Crea-re is led by Maria Fiter, who holds a degree in Art History from Kraków (Poland) and founded her studio in Barcelona in 2013. Maria’s work straddles the line between art and design.
