Pinion is a collection of coffee tables and coffee-inspired round gear. The starting point of this project arises from the observation of mechanical gears in different artifacts.
“I have always been fascinated by mechanical constructions and carpentry in general. The pinion gear allows for various movements in mechanics, and this same interconnection between different gears has inspired me to create this collection of tables”, – says designer Simone Affabris.
Pinion tables are available in three sizes and heights. Each table is made of oiled oak wood and features a round brass plate right in the center of the board. This subtle detail not only adds a sophisticated touch, but extends the concept of mechanics to the materials and the final look of the table. The light PINION tables can be placed individually or in a composition of your choice. The tables are practical to decorate living rooms, welcome guests in the living area or can serve as elegant bedside tables. In addition, its ingenious construction allows the Pinion tables to be packed in the plane to facilitate their transport or compact storage when not in use.
This furniture, like all EMKO products, is made of high-quality sustainable materials.
