The Link shelf link is a cross between a piece of decorative wall art, and the usable shelf system. The shape of the shelf unites on one side the soft and round, and on the other side, the sharp and pointed. two interconnected poles. The shelf is made up of 14 sub-elements made from individually oiled and waxed laminated birch veneer to provide the wood with a silky smooth finish. Product design is done using 3D technology. Once the basic form has been found, the objective is to define the lines in their entirety, maintaining satisfactory unions between the elements. After several persevering work prototypes, the final design is defined. The different pieces of wood are processed by milling machine, generating a minimum of residues of the original material. The edges are rounded by hand and each element is in turn sanded by machine and by hand.
Available in lengths of 180 cm and 240 cm.
