The lamp is made of birch plywood. It is finished and assembled by hand and then treated with a special vegetable oil wax. In the ebony and bicolor versions, the lamp is ebonized by hand with a special ebony mordant. You are not choosing a product manufactured in series, but the result of a careful work that combines design and craft tradition.

Eco-designers Cris Tumedei and Andrea Pregl, entrepreneurs and co-founders of Ulap, are partners both professionally and personally. They have combined their strengths and skills to create an ethical and sustainable business project that promotes the slow philosophy. Their goal? To do everything in their power to leave a better world for others, and for their daughters (Las Tres Hermanas Tormenta). And, step by step, they continue to push boundaries. Andrea is the creative mind behind all of Ulap's design products. She is the company's creative director and designer. Cris is the strategic mind behind every step of Ulap.
