Design + Recycled Plastic + 3D Printing + Wood

Mobilio manufactures its products primarily using three materials (not always together): recycled plastic boards, made from plastic waste from the fashion industry, mainly hangers and hooks from various suppliers, including Inditex. These boards are supplied by a local manufacturer in Cheste, Valencia. They also utilize 3D printing with PLA, a material from a Barcelona-based manufacturer. PLA is derived from organic waste such as sugarcane and rice husks, and is biodegradable (in an industrial process), making it less harmful than petroleum-based filaments like ABS. Additionally, they use FSC-certified pine wood from sustainable and controlled forests, supplied by a nearby sawmill. They label the plastics used for identification, grouping by type, and future recycling. Mobilio originated with the premise of manufacturing products with these materials responsibly and on a smaller, almost artisanal scale. That's why the brand's philosophy also extends to the packaging, where they don't use plastics or plastic tapes, but rather cardboard and paper tapes for shipping, so that the message is consistent with their creations.
